Mr. Charles Acquah, the Chief Finance Officer is a seasoned Finance professional with more than twelve years post qualification experience in both upstream and downstream sectors of the oil & gas industry. A fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (FCCA), Charles possesses a Masters’ in Business Administration (Oil & Gas option), a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B (Hons) and membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIT).
His rich career spans from his role as Chief Accountant of ENI Ghana E&P to the same role in Vitol Upstream Ghana Limited over a decade, where he had oversight responsibility for all the treasury and accounting functions of the two companies ensuring adherence to strict statutory timelines while maximizing productivity at all times.
Charles business acumen has been further sharpened with his participation on several boards within the oil and gas industry. Adept at defining the metrics that track company performance, Charles will ensure that AI focuses on key business drivers that convey a broad understanding of our value proposition to the oil and gas industry. Equipped with in-depth operational insights, he will lead the drive to reinforce strategic choices and cross functional collaboration which will ultimately lead to a consistent rise in shareholder value.
His leadership style is grounded in his Christian faith affording him the ability to lead value creation initiatives while harnessing the strengths of everyone along the value chain.
